Upside Down Smokey Eye

This week for The Makeup Heroes we're doing recreations of this upside down smokey eye that MakeupGeek posted. We're all changing it to suit our eye shape and skintone, and it's cool seeing how it differs for everyone! I will note that this isn't a tutorial, just a quick video explaining what I did and how I changed it. Warning: the full face shots in this post and video are very shiny. My camera occasionally decides it hates Maybelline Fit Me Foundation (and my BB Cream to a lesser extent), and likes to make me look like I've been swimming in a vat of oil. I was powdered to death in real life, but I look like I've been sweating in the sun for 12 hours in some of these photos. Also, excuse my little mascara splodges :P

The camera awkwardly cut me off at my eyebrows, haha :)
Obligatory duckface shot!
I hope you enjoyed the video! This isn't the kind of look I'd usually wear, but it was a cool experiment to be a part of. I love any opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and try new techniques and colour placements, even if they could potentially make me look like death, haha. If you're interested, make sure to check out the other Makeup Heroes and see how they adapted the look for their features! I'm not sure what our next video theme is, but I need to get off my ass and do a combined July/August/September favourites. I did do one for August but after filming and editing I just thought 'meh, I don't like this anymore' and binned it. >__>

Hauling will resume tomorrow, interspered with FOTDs.
