Collective Haulin'

Here's some more stuff I bought when I fell off the Project 10 Pan bandwagon!

I absolutely frakking LOVE the Wet n Wild Comfort Zone and I <3 Matte Palettes, so I instantly snapped up a backup of each when the lovely Heather mentioned she had 2 she wasn't using. The B Collection by Bloom Collecta Colour Eyeshadow in Pink Sands (what a mouthful -__-) was part of my February Bella Box, and I've been enjoying this shimmery pinky beige as both a lid colour and cheekbone highlight. And although I'm in the midst of a primer frenzy right now and determined to kill sweat from the bottom up, I couldn't help but wonder if I could use a product like Model in a Bottle to kill the problem from the top down.

I'd been purposely staying out of Sportsgirl for weeks to avoid temptation, but once I fell off the P10P bandwagon I threw in the towel and ventured in. I was sensible and only picked up a body scrub (not pictured) and this awesome peachy beige Pout Line All About You Lipliner in Nude. I also randomly picked up a lot of 60 self-adhesive magnets on Ebay, since I'd done a tonne of depotting a while back but never had any magnets on me. I felt a sense of weird relief when I was done and able to shake my MAC palette and AnotherSoul Book of Shadows without eyeshadows falling out everywhere!

magnets I had left over.

I mentioned in my primer haul that I picked up the NP Set Pre-Foundation Primer after seeing a 3 for 2 sale on NP Set at Big W. These are the other two items I picked up as part of the offer: NP Set It Takes Two Concealer and Foundation Pot in Set 1 (Light), and Pasarella Powder Foundation in Set 1 Extra Light. You can also see the Milani Baked Blush in Dolce Pink, which Heather sent me as she wasn't using it either :3

Dolce Pink is everything I wanted Rose D'Oro to be: a medium rosey pink with a beautiful golden shimmer! ^__^

I picked up the liquid and powder foundations mostly on a whim to take advantage of the sale. I was won over by the cool illuminating concealer in the cap of the liquid foundation, and by my increasing interest in branching out and trying other bases. I bought the powder foundation to see if it could replace my beloved Essence Mattifying Powder Compact. That compact can work absolute magic (I'm talking smoothing over dry patches!), but it doesn't have any actual colour. I wanted to see if I could use a powder foundation for touch ups, since powder foundation alone doesn't cut it on my sweaty man face. ;]

The liquid foundation not only has a concealer in the cap, but a spatula too! There's a small slot in the top of the bottle where the spatula fits, so if you were to carry this around in your bag it's very unlikely that the lid could pop off and leak foundation everywhere. I have found that the spatula is a little awkward though, I have to keep re-dipping and scraping off foundation onto the back of my hand.

And now for swatches! They're a little dark, but I hope you get the idea.

Phew, so many pretties! I just have 2 more hauls for the time being: 3 more primers and a whole bunch of assorted MAC stuff. :)
